Wyatt’s Favorite Meal

Well, I should say food not meal, because he doesn’t really care for the brown rice or broccoli.  However, he does loves Worthington’s Dinner Roast so he’ll eat whatever I give him that day, just so he can have another serving.  Hey, OH ladies, who has that recipe that Byron’s mom makes with dinner roast, you know, the one with the cream of mushroom?  Someone email me that…

Kindness Award

Bridgie received her first award in her life, it was for kindness.  Her teacher presented it to her at chapel and I was a very proud mom!  Three Korean kids from Santa Maria Korea SDA Church received awards that day.  The moms were all sitting in the pew and started laughing.  It was an exciting day for the OH family.

For Grandpa Kim

My dad only reads this blog and so I have to add some of my photog stuff here.  He loves little Sehnah to pieces…

Sehnah’s New Bike

Daddy took Sehnah shopping and got her a new bike!!  She was actually more excited about her Dora helmet than the bike, but that’s ok.  She wanted to wear it to sleep on the first night, but we compromised and she just got to have it in her bed.  The rain finally stopped and the kids LOVED riding their bikes outside again.

Kim/Oh Family Memories (2)

This is the story about me and Arthur.  Arthur (my little brother) is 9 years younger than me, so we didn’t spend that much time together growing up.  When he was a baby, he was just a toy for me and my sister and by the time he grew up, it was time for me to leave for college.  One day, I came home from La Sierra for a weekend or something and I told Artero (that’s what we used to call him) that I would take him out to eat, somewhere special.  His eyes lit up and he said, “Let’s go to Beverly Hills, keun noo-nah”…  I thought, sure, why not?  I told him, well, if you hang out with me, you’re going to see movie stars and it’s going to be a lot of fun.  Art was like, whatever, and was just excited to go to Beverly Hills with me so he jumped in the car.  We arrived at this Italian restaurant (I can’t remember the name) and ordered some lunch.  I told him again to be on the lookout for movie stars and he rolled his eyes at me again.  So the server brings us some bread and I turn around and almost start laughing because I didn’t really think that we would meet any movie stars, but someone famous ended up sitting right next to us.  I had to take a deep breath because I wanted my brother to think that this happened to me all the time, so I say, Art, turn around and tell me who is sitting right next to you.  He turns around and lo and behold, who is sitting right next to us…  JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME, I kid you not.  My brother could not believe his eyes and didn’t even say a word.  I look at him and I tell him, I told you’d see a movie star, was I right or was I right?  He just starts laughing and I start laughing, oh, I still remember that moment as if it were yesterday.  It was so funny, so so funny.  This story does not end here, but I am exhausted, so it shall have to wait.  Part 2 coming up later on this week.
